We believe that the Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, authoritative, infallible and powerful Word of God. We believe that God's intentions, revealed in the Bible, are the supreme and final authority in testing all claims about what is right and true.
We believe that there is one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe we have a loving, heavenly Father who created us for relationship with Him. We do not have to work for His recognition and acceptance, but we receive His love and the affirmation over our lives. He saves from sin and death all who come to him through Jesus Christ.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's unique and eternal Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in his virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We believe in his substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for his people, and personal, visible return to earth.
We believe in God the Holy Spirit who indwells all believers to convict, enlighten, sanctify, empower, and guide them in life and service. Being constantly present in our lives, He empowers us to live out the new Christ-filled life and imparts gifts to us for service to others. He instructs and guides us into all truth in our everyday lives.
We believe that humanity was created by God in his own image and for his glory, but that we were separated from God when sin entered the world. We believe that all humans are born with a sinful nature and thus are in need of salvation. We reject justification based on any human effort. Only those who trust Jesus Christ as their Savior, by virtue of his atoning death on the cross, embracing him as Lord of their lives are born again, justified, adopted, delivered from condemnation, and receive eternal life. We believe that this faith leads to a heartfelt turning from sin.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit as established in the Bible. The true Church is composed of persons who, by grace through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ, of which He is Head.
We believe the entire cosmos can be understood only in relation to God. We see Christianity as a life system, or worldview, that governs every area of existence. Everything that exists came into being at his command and is therefore subject to Him, finding its purpose and meaning in Him. Our vision must be Jesus’ grand vision of global transformation. Christ’s victory on the cross has the power to transform every person and every situation. Jesus appeared to His disciples before His ascension as a victorious King—the supreme authority of heaven and earth. He taught them, and us, to pray for His Kingdom to come on earth—now—as it is in heaven.
We believe that God created and ordained marriage in the beginning, as a blessing for both man and woman, before sin entered the world, and that He created marriage to be between one man and one woman, who enter into a covenant relationship, complement one another, serve one another, and sanctify one another for as long as they both shall live.
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female at birth. These two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God.
We believe that human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all of human life.
This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
